“VanVleet has a $22.8 million player option in his contract for the 2023-24 season, so he has the option of becoming an unrestricted free agent in the offseason. The All-Star apparently turned down a four-year, $114 million contract extension offer from Toronto during the offseason. As a free agent, he could receive more.”
